A&D Academy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how A&D Academy ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website, contact us, or enrol in one of our courses. We act as the data controller for the personal data described below. For any privacy-related question, you can reach us at nicoli.emma99@gmail.com.

Data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact details — your name, email address, company and role, and the content of your message when you use our contact form or book a consultation.
  • Enrolment and billing data — the details needed to register you for a course and process your payment, such as your name, email address and billing information.
  • Technical data — basic information generated when you browse the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the website secure and working properly.

How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • respond to your enquiries and consultation requests (legitimate interest / pre-contractual measures);
  • manage course enrolments, seats and payments, and send you the related confirmations and service emails (performance of a contract);
  • comply with legal obligations, such as accounting and tax requirements;
  • keep the website secure and improve how it works (legitimate interest).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered directly on Stripe's secure checkout and never reach our servers. Stripe processes your data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run this website. They process personal data only on our instructions and for the purposes described above:

  • Stripe — payment processing;
  • Resend — sending transactional emails such as enrolment confirmations;
  • Sanity — content management for this website;
  • our hosting provider — serving the website and its infrastructure.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above: enquiries for as long as needed to handle your request, enrolment and billing records for the period required by tax and accounting law, and technical logs for a short, limited time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at nicoli.emma99@gmail.com and we will respond within the timeframes required by law.

Cookies

This website uses only the technical cookies strictly necessary for it to function, including those set by Stripe during checkout for security and fraud prevention. We do not use profiling or advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we change providers or introduce new services. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
